Rajgir Hot Springs

The seven hot springs or Saptarshi makes an attractive tourist place at Rajgir to visit. The water from this hot spring come and accumulate to form a big pool of warm water, called Brahmakund. This makes a holy place for Hindus, Buddhists, and Jains, where they come and dip in this pond. The water of the pond is considered sacred and is also believed to possess medicinal properties and healing features, which cures chronic diseases. It pertains to the fact that the dissolved minerals in the water of the springs act as a natural jacuzzi. The place is believed to be visited and used by Gautam Buddha and Mahavira.
