Travelling for about 20 km from Itanagar, the state capital will take you to this beautiful town of Yupia. Yupia stands as the headquarters of Papum Pare district in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in India. The place is famed and revered fro its rich culture and tradition and also the finger-licking authentic food.
The town is generous in serving meat, rice and vegetables. It also serves its locally made liquor named Apong.
Important tourist places here are- Itanagar Wildlife Sanctuary, Geykar Sinyi, Buddhist Gompa and Polo Park.
