Kaziranga

One of the very important places dotted in the maps of the country as well as the world is the Kaziranga. The place resides in the northeast Indian state of Assam. Nourished by the river Brahmaputra, the place is a natural habitat for thousands of animals including the endangered Indian one-horned rhinoceroses. It is a land of forests, wetlands, and grasslands, that gives a home to tigers, elephants, Indian one-horned rhinoceroses, wild water buffaloes, Swamp Deer, Dolphins, many rare migratory birds, gray pelicans and many more. This place is truly where a man can witness the wildest and the richest form of nature and wildlife. Kaziranga is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
