Neora Valley National Park

Neora Valley National Park sees its place in the Kalimpong district of West Bengal. The huge park sprawls over 88 sq. km of land and inhabiters a wide variety of flora and fauna.

Rachela Pass makes the highest point of the park. The park also sees its connection with the nearby  Pangolakha Wild Life Sanctuary, Sikkim and Toorsa Strict Reserve, Bhutan in the North and the forests of Jalpaiguri, Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary and the Gorumara National Park in its southern end.

The park is adorned with immense natural beauty. Apart from its awe-inspiring natural creatures and the green backdrop, there are ranges of mountains sprawling throughout the park, which makes this place even more blissful. One can have a Jeep ride inside the forest and can even opt trekking. The diverse beauty of the park is sure to keep one mesmerized. The park is famed for its varieties of birds and animals. Botany lovers find it a treat to visit this park. There are nearly 10 species of rhododendrons noted in the park.
