Siddheswar Dham

Siddheswar Dham aka Char Dham is a renowned pilgrimage for Hindus in Kalimpong. The temple is huge and sprawls across 29 hectares of land atop Solophok hill in Namchi.
The temple was established on 8th November 2011 and since then has always attracted thousands of tourists and devotees every year.
Apart from the religious importance, the temple is also famed for its exquisite location and the stunning views it offers. One can see the Kanchenjunga peaks from the temple.
The temple is huge, all decorated with the idols of various gods and goddesses. The main attraction of the temple is the towering statue of Lord Shiva in a sitting posture which is 87 feet tall. The temple holds narrations about the life, power and the magics done by lord Shiva. One can sit here and pray and can even indulge in some religious rituals taking place inside the temple from time to time.
The temple also holds the replicas of the Char Dham which are very sacred for Hindus. Also to see here is a 16.5ft tall statue of Kirateshwar, an incarnation of Lord Shiva.
The temple also worships Sai Baba. The noticeable attractions here are Nandi Bull facing Shiva, Kirat Dwar, Main Prayer Hall, viewing pavilion, several water bodies, musical fountain, etc.
