Deolo Hill
Deolo Hill at Kalimpong makes one of the most revered places in this region. The peak is 1704 meters high and makes the 10th-highest peak in the Indian state of West Bengal.
Durpin and Deolo make the two hills that house the town of Kalimpong. Kalimpong sits on a ridge connecting these two hills.
The hill holds a water reservoir that serves the water to the city. Also to see here are Shiva Temple, Hanuman temple and Buddha Statue. Apart from the man created beauties, the place is also famed for its natural scenic beauty and the stunning landscapes view it offers.
The place is visited to site the mesmerizing views of sunset and sunrise amidst the mighty mountains, villages of Relli valley, Teesta River, Kalimpong town, snow-capped mountains of West Sikkim, etc.
There is also a recreational park in the hilltop to be enjoyed with family and friends. Also to visit are some exotic restaurants in the prime locations and the adventurous activities to be performed.
