Bindu Dam
Well near the India Bhutan border lies a mesmerizing area holding a beautiful Dam known by the name Bindu Dam aka Jaldhaka Dam. This Dam sees its place at an elevation of 2000ft and needs a little amount of trekking to reach near it.
The Dam is famed because of its location. The lush green surrounding with the melody of the river Jaldhaka hitting the rocks and the backdrop of Bhutan hills makes this place a piece of paradise.
Although the whole way up till the dam is not permitted still the permitted area is enough to enjoy the scenic beauty to the maximum. The snow-capped Himalayan ranges of the India and Bhutan guard the sides and the velvety green valley holds the dam structure.
The dam is functional and is a source of power generation for the area. Bindu Khola, Dudh Khola, and Jaldahaka streams supplies their water to the dam.
