Ghora Katora Lake

Ghora Katora Lake is a small yet worth visiting the scenic place at Rajgir. The place has historical and tourism importance. People believe that King Jarasandha from Indian epic Mahabharata used to have his stable here and thus the place derived its name- Gohra Katora. The place has serene surroundings, on the backdrop are small hills imparting a picturesque effect to the lake. There is a boating facility for tourists. The lake makes a perfect place for a picnic and enjoys some leisure time.
