Barnawapara wildlife sanctuary

This wildlife sanctuary of the state resides near the district of Mahasamund, only a few kilometers away from the capital city. The wildlife enthusiasts usually flock here at weekends. The main attraction here is the Gaur or the wild Indian Bison. people go crazy on sighting this animal. Also one can spot other rare species like nilgai, wild boar, sambhar and Cheetal.
