Achal Nath Temple

Achal Nath Shivalaya is an ancient, revered Hindu shrine in the city of Jodhpur. The main idol of this temple is Hindu Lord Shiva. The temple was built by Nanak Devi – wife of Rajput king Rao Ganga, in the year 1531.

The temple includes Garbha Griha, Mandap Bhavan and Kirtan Bhavan. Also the temple houses a water pond named Ganga Bawari. The temple flaunts super architectural grandeur and showcases the architectural trends of that time. It has both religious and historical importance. The temple is revered by the shiva devotees from across the country all round the year. it is all a popular place amongst the history and the architecture enthusiasts.
