Pazhamudhir Solai

About 20 km from the main city is an ancient Hindu temple Pazhamudir Solai. The temple is believed to be about 1000 to 1500 years old and worships Lord Muruga. The temple holds the prestige of being among the six Arupadaiveedu, i.e. the place where Lord Muruga encountered important events in his life.
