Black Buddha Temple

Another yet important Buddhist temple in the city of Nalanda is the Black Buddha Temple aka Bhairon. As the name itself indicated, the temple holds the statue of Buddha, all black. The importance of this statue is the black stone,  which is used to make this statue is rarely found. The place is often flocked by monks and devotees and provides a divine place to find peace of mind.
