Nilavoor Lake
Nilavoor Lake is one of the popular tourist places at Yelagiri Hills, frequently flocked by the boating enthusiasts. The lake derived its name from the Village of Nilavoor where it is situated. It is an artificial lake having a beautiful garden on its banks. The lake provides the chance to the tourists to have a pleasing walk along the lake and also enjoy the boating facility. Places to visit nearby- A temple dedicated to Kadavu Nachiya, and Moksha Vimochana Temple can also be visited nearby. Also, the newly established Thambiran Lotus Pond at the lake is worth spending some time.
