Sim’s Park

Named after its founder, Mr.J.D. Sim, Sim’s Park was built in 1874. The park is spread over a vast area of 30 acres. Initially, it served as a pleasure resort for the residents and visitors and later developed into public Garden. This park has a botanical garden which houses many species of trees and shrubs which are rare to find. The walkways in the park are beautifully lined up with the seasonal flowers on either side. To add to the beauty of the park is the lake inside that offers tourists boating within. Festival- The park commences Annual Fruit and Vegetables show in the May month every year that sees lots of nature enthusiasts and the botany lovers from across the country.

Entrance Fee – Rs 5 for adults and Rs 2 for children. Still Camera – Rs 35, Video camera – Rs 250.
