Netaji Bhawan
Netaji Bhawan at Kolkata is the ancestral home of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, maintained as a memorial and research center to his life.
The house was built by Bose’s father in 1909 served as their home and now is owned and managed by the Netaji Research Bureau. The building now holds a museum, archives, and library.
The museum is a wonderful place to have a glimpse of the Netaji’s life. One can witness his car. study room and bedroom too here. This house is important in one more regard as many political meetings pertaining to the freedom movement used to take place here.
