College Street (Boi Para)

No Book lover would be unaware of this place at Kolkata. This place is the oldest, busiest and favorite place amongst the locals of the Kolkata. The street derived its name- College street from the fact that many educational institutes are located in this street. And it is called “Boi Para” which literally means Locality for Books. The place justifies its name. The street is a favorite hub for the students, teachers, authors, writers and reading enthusiasts. There is almost no book which can’t be found here. Visit this place to see some of the Kolkata’s oldest colleges, their architecture and to purchase some unique books.
