Marble Palace Kolkata
Marble Palace sees itself as a palatial 19th-century mansion in North Kolkata. This famed attraction of Kolkata is located at 46, Muktaram Babu Street.
The Palace belonged to the wealthiest merchant of Kolkata, Raja Rajendra Mullick and is the best-preserved houses of that time. This beautiful mansion is adorned with marble walls, floors, and sculptures and is thus called the Marble Palace.
One can see here an adorable collection of western sculptures, paintings, chandeliers, clocks, urns, etc which makes the Palace even more precious and appreciable. The Place is one of the most beautiful places to be visited at Kolkata.
Also near the Palace is a zoo, lake, and gardens to be enjoyed. The decedents of Raja Rajendra Mullick still live here in a segregated residential space that is not accessible to the public.
