Kailasagiri Hill

The Kailasagiri Hill situated at a distance of 9 km from the Visakhapatnam(or Vizag) Railway Station is a charming hilltop. Kailasagiri’s main attraction is the statue of Lord Shiva and Parvathi. The statue stands high on the hill, at 40 feet in height. Kailasagiri derives his name from this statue that depicts Lord Shiva and Parvathi’s abode. The floral clock is one of India’s largest, 10 feet in diameter. On the background of the Shiva Parvathi figure, the floral clock gives an artistic impression on the lush green patches. Along with these around Kailasagiri, you could visit the Floral Clock Park, the Titanic viewpoint, the Jungle Trail, the Shanthi Ashram, and Shanku Chakra Nama. It is a landmark and draws large numbers of people.
