Varadarajaswami Temple
Sri Varadaraja Perumal Temple aka Devarajaswami Temple or Varadarajaswami Temple is a holy temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
The main attraction of the temple is its 100 ft high temple tower (gopuram), which was built in 11th century AD. It later went refurbishment by the Vijayanagar Kings in the 16th century. This temple houses a 100 pillar hall (mandapam) which is popular for its artistic carvings.
Festivals- The most famous and the grant festival of the temple is its chariot festival, which falls during the month of May and sees a large gathering.
