Tirupati is a city in Chittoor district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Known as the spiritual capital of the state Tirupati is considered one of the holiest Hindu pilgrimage sites because of Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, besides other historical temples. Built-in accordance with the Dravidian style of architecture, the temple has three entrances. About 433 festivals being celebrated every year are being celebrated here which turns out to be more than one for a day. Thus, it creates a major tourist attraction throughout the country. ‘Brahmotsavam’ is the most significant among these famous festivals of Tirupati, it is celebrated in a grand style over nine days. The festival attracts pilgrims and tourists from all over the country. Some believe that the journey in his darshan directs people towards their Iives purpose, shines a light on their reason and shows the way. Once been part of Vishnus adobe, each hill of the seven represents a head of Adhiserha. It is also thought to be one of the 108 Darma Deshas.
