The Grange
Grange is an architectural marvel, making its place in the famous city of Yercaud. This stunning castle saw its construction in the year 1820 and was made by collector M. D. Cockburn. It also holds the prestige of being the first commercial plantation area for coffee, oranges, and apples in Yercaud. People say that the castle served as a summer resort by Robert Clive of English East India Company in the late 1800s. The attraction of the Palace is a huge cellar. The place witnessed many activities here during the Sepoy Mutiny. The building holder gun placements and canon-bearers as well.
