Rose Garden
Ooty Rose Garden aka Jayalalithaa Rose Garden, the Nootrandu Roja Poonga or the Centenary Rose Park is a piece of paradise for the rose lovers. The garden is beautifully landscaped to spread the beautiful colours and fragrance all over.
The Ooty Rose Garden was established in 1995 beautifies the Elk Hill slopes in Ooty. The garden is maintained by the Horticulture Department of Tamil Nadu. The garden is spread over four hectares of land and harbours wide varieties of roses ranging from small to large, light to dark coloured, with odour to odourless.
You may find people often visiting here to find the variety of their desired rose or for spending some loveable time among the wide range of beautiful roses. The garden also commences a flower show during the summer season, where one can witness the richness of the rose garden and its fans.
The garden is purely a treat to every soul.
