Punganoor Lake
Rising to the incredible height of 4626 ft above the sea level, Swamimalai hills are one of the highest peaks in Yelagiri. The Swamimalai hill is frequented by the trekkers and the mountain climbers. The serene climate and the mesmerizing views of the surrounding the hills offers are incomparable. Mangalam Village (3.5 km from Punganoor Lake) serves as the starting point of most of the Swamimalai trek. One can find local guides to direct the way. The hilltop consists of a Shiva temple, and also an iron ladder provided to offer a fantastic view of the hills to the tourists.
