Mahatma Gandhi Setu
Mahatma Gandhi Setu, at Patna, holds the prestige of being the second-longest river bridge in India. The gigantic Setu extends over the Ganges for 5.7 kilometers. The bridge is the connecting link between the capital city of Patna in the south to Hajipur in the north. The bridge consists of four lanes of roadways and a pedestrian walks on each side. The bridge serves as the way of commute for the people and also is a place of attraction for the tourists as it gives the spectacular views of the holy river Ganga flowing underneath. The beauty of the bridge is at its peak in the evening.
