Buddha Smriti Park

Buddha Smriti Park sees its place in the Frazer Road in Patna. It is a large urban park constructed by the Patna Government to mark the 2554th anniversary of Lord Buddha. The Park was inaugurated in 2010 by the 14th Dalai Lama, and witnessed the plantation of two special saplings- one of it was brought from Bodh Gaya and the other from Anuradhapura in Sri Lanka. The huge park covers the vast land of 22 acres. At the center of the park stands the Patliputra Karuna Stupa, catching every tourists attention. This park is a special gift from the state government to its people to have a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. The park also houses a museum which holds a pot containing Lord Buddha’s ashes. The park also holds musical shows and events timely.
