The Lake is believed to be created by Vera Levinge and developed by the British and early missionaries from the USA. The lake has an elevation of 2285m above sea level and an average depth of 3.0m thus making it very safe. The Lake holds the beautiful shape of a star, surrounded by the lush green Palani Hills Range. Apart from its blessed beauty due to the mesmerizing surrounding, the lake attracts tourists with the varieties of activities it offers. The lake is a perfect place to sit back and relax. Once here, you can indulge yourselves into a variety of activities like- Boating, Fishing, Swimming, pondering upon the beautiful flowers, cycling, and horse riding alongside the lake and much more. The stalls outside the lake campus sell perfect souvenirs to take back home. Do try some fresh marshmallows and homemade chocolates of these stalls.
