Ketti Valley Viewpoint
Travel 4 km from Ooty on Ooty- Coonoor Road in Nilgiris district of Tamilnadu to reach this popular spot known as Ketti Valley View Point. Ketti Valley is the largest valley in the Nilgiris and harbours several tribes like Todas and Badagas.
The valley is visited by the tourists to enjoy the magic of the mesmerising surrounding and the peaceful environment. The Valley also has fresh vegetables and fruits farms belonging to the tribals of the area. The valley is so beautiful and pathetic that is often regarded as ‘Switzerland of Nilgiris’.
To add to the visitors excitement id a telescope house, which gives a closer and more admirable view of this majestic valley. The valley also shares some of its place with the popular needle making industry of the area- Pony Needles.
