In the Karadiyur village of Yercaud, a beautiful and famous viewpoint of Karadiyur is located. It is a natural viewpoint and sees lots of tourists visiting Yervaud. The point derived its name from the word- Karadiyoor meaning sloth bears, found in large number in this region earlier. The point is perfect for viewing the deep valleys of the Yercaud. The place is also usually flocked by the group of people seeking to see the mesmerizing view of sunrise and sunset from the top. For the ease of the visitors is a watchtower at this place. Trekking and camping are also allowed here.
