Kali Mata Temple
At the southern coast of “Gandak” river is the sacred goddess temple Kali Mata Temple. This temple is looked upon as an icon of faith, worship, and belief on the goddess by the local people and her devotees. It is believed that the temple was constructed in the year 1932 by Darbhanga Maharaj Kamlesh Singh. Devotees come in masses to worship the powerful goddess from over the country. Navratri sees a maximum number of devotees visiting here. The temple is also known by the name Simri Mai temple. There are mythological stories relating to this holy temple.
