Garib Sthan Mandir Temple/ Baba Garibnath

Baba Garib Sthan temple is a sacred Shiva temple seeing its place at Purani bazar area of Muzaffarpur in Bihar State. This is considered as one of the sacred and the oldest temples in the heart of City Muzaffarpur. The lord Shiva is called as Baba Garibnath here. The temple also worships Lord Ganesha and Goddess Parvati.  The temple complex holds a big banyan tree, which witnesses many rituals and celebrations all year round. Festivals- the temple commences grand celebration and gathering on Maha Shivratri. People from across the country visit here on this day to have a glimpse of the holy deity.
