Kali Mandir-Darbhanga House, Patna

Kali Mandir – Darbhanga House is a sacred temple at Patna, dedicated to Hindu Goddess Kali. The temple sits inside the Darbhanga House is also famed as Nav Lakha building. People believe that the construction of the temple was done by Maharaja Sir Kameshwar Singh of Darbhanga. The building sees its place along the banks of Ganges. The temple is very old and holds the statue of the Goddess Kali, which is unsculptured and is said to rise through the earth. The temple is considered as Sati 9th place.
