Bandipur National Park

Under the Tiger Project of India, Bandipur National Park is located in the state of Karnataka, which has the second-highest population of tigers. This national park supports a lot of wildlife species and is surrounded by deciduous forests.

Indian elephants, four-horned antelopes, gaurs, muggers, tigers, sloth bears, Indian rock pythons, jackals, dholes, vipers, spectacled cobra, Indian rock python, Indian pond terrapin, rat snake, muggers, monitor lizards, Indian chameleon, agamids, flying lizards, a wide range of butterflies, and a lot more can been seen inside this park.
The deciduous forest supports a variety of timber trees like teak, sandalwood, rosewood, Indian kino tree, Indian-laurel, giant clumping bamboo, etc.
