Anna Park

Anna Park sits near the Big Lake in Yercaud. The park is maintained by the Horticulture department of the state and is a well preserved and presentable garden. The park has a section like Lake Park, Deer Park, Gandhi Park, and Children’s Park. Due to its tempting and favorable location, it houses a wide collection of natural plants and trees. The Japanese park inside the Anna park showcases plants grown in Japanese style. To look is the Horticulture Farm with a Rose Garden, which has a wide collection of roses from bigger to smaller one, from scented to non scented one, from wild to hybrid variety. It’s a treat for the rose lovers. Another attraction of the park is red grass. The grass gives a false illusion of the carpet being spread all over. To enchance the beauty of the place is a fountain, that keeps visitors pleased by ts sparkling water droplets. The perk for the children are the slides. The park is equipped with numerous varieties of slides to keep children happy too. The nursery in the park provides the visitors with an opportunity to take back the variety of plant they want for their home. The park holds annual Flower Show in May when the wide variety of flowers are displayed.
