Kiliyur Falls

Kiliyur Falls is located at the Servaroyan hill range of the Eastern Ghats in Tamil Nadu, India. This makes an important tourist destination in Yercaud and is always flocked by the tourists. Kiliyur Falls is a result of the water overflown from the Yercaud Lake. As the water from the fall drops into the Kiliyur Valley, this fall has been named as the Kiliyur waterfall. The overcapacity water from the lake drains from the height of 300 feet (91 m) to fall into the valley and form a scenic Kiliyur waterfall. To reach till the falls, one requires to trek for about 2kms and climb nearly 200 steep steps, which makes this place a bit difficult for the elderly and the children. However, youngsters enjoy going to this place a lot.
