Pagoda Point
Pagoda Point makes its places in the eastern part of the Yercaud Hills. These points give a landscape view of the nearby places including the entire town of Salem and the neighboring village of Kakambadi. The mesmerizing twists and turns of the 21 hairpin curves of Yercaud can be viewed from this point. Pagoda hills derived its name from the piling of the stones in the form of pyramid or pagoda, which was probably done by the local tribal people. The place also houses a temple dedicated to Lord Rama. The tranquility of the place is such that it is loved by all the tourists and keeps calling then again.
