Kamaraj Sagar
Kamraj Sagar Dam aka Sandynalla Reservoir is a very peaceful and scenic dam built over the Kamrajar Lake. The dam marks its location over the slopes of the Wenlock Downs and on the way to the Pykara.
The dam over a wide area of 400 acres of land and has a total length of 6 km. The dam, apart from its prime function of dealing with the water, also provides a beautiful location for movie shooting and hangout. the lovely and the peaceful location here makes the dam a favourite spot among the tourists to pay a visit.
Apart from visiting and enjoying at the dam, you can also go for a long walk along the trails nearby. The trails give a beautiful view of the lake and the serene surroundings. You can spot various birds and animals and also some beautiful plants nearby.
Another beautiful thing to admire here is the Pine forest. You can explore the wide-area here and get some memorable photographs clicked.
