Kailasakona Waterfalls, Near Tirupati

Kailasakona Waterfalls makes its way through the huge rocks in the valley of Nagari hills. The water here cascades down from a height of about 30 meters to fall on a small pond created beneath the rocks. The huge massive rocks split into two, to give rise and path to the water stream that falls from the height to create this beautiful fall. There are many religious stories about this fall. So fall is important from the viewpoint of tourism and religion as well. Near this beautiful waterfall is a temple of Lord Shiva and Parvati, which can be easily reached.
