Patha Bhavan

Patha Bhavana is a famed institution of primary and secondary education in Santiniketan, West Bengal. The institute is yet another important gift of the Nobel laureate, Rabindranath Tagore, to his people.

The institute was established in 1901 with only five students. It aims to inculcate the art of learning among the pupil to build a strong relationship between the teacher and a student.

The learning here sees a similarity to the olden day’s ashram system. It is affiliated with the Visva-Bharati University.
