Durgapur- Bengal’s Steel Hub

Durgapur stands as a Tier-II city and a municipal corporation in Paschim Bardhaman district of West Bengal. The city finds its place on the banks of Damodar river and coalfields of Raniganj. Durgapur holds the prestige of being the only city in eastern India to have an operational dry dock.
