Kumariamman Temple

Kumari Amman Temple aka the Virgin Goddess temple is one of the most sacred temples in the world. The temple is among the 108 Shakti Peethas and worships Goddess Devi Kanya Kumari. The sacred temple sits on the shores of Kanyakumari, on the confluence of Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea, and the Bay of Bengal. The ring is so bright and charming that one can notice it even from the distance. The temple gives away vermillion as the prasad from the goddess. Festivals- The temple commences grand celebration on Navratri (9 days) during September-October, Vaisakha festival (10 days) during May-June and Kalabham festival during May-June.
