Yogyakarta aka “Jogja” is a city of traditional arts and cultural heritage on the island of Java, Indonesia. The city is famed for its world-known temples of Borobudur and Prambanan, dating back to the 8th and 9th centuries. Also to explore and appreciate are the 18th-century royal complex or Kraton which encompasses the still-inhabited Sultan’s Palace.
