Lombok sees itself as an island in the east of Bali and west of Sumbawa, part of the Lesser Sunda Island chain, Indonesia. Kuta in the central Lombok and Banko Banko in south Lombok makes an ideal surfing destination here. The island is loved for its pristine beaches and the rich marine kingdom. West Nusa Tenggara Museum, Mayura Garden and Narmada Park also make the popular spots to be visited here. Another popular scenic attraction of this island is Mt Rinjani. This peak is famed as the highest volcano in the country and offers some of the spectacular views and also makes a great trekking trail. Reaching the summit and the glimpse of The Segara Anak Crater Lake makes the environment even more magical. The steep volcanic peaks of this island are the choice of the trekking enthusiasts to spend some time hiking in its stunning environment.

Kuta Beach, Tanjung A’an, Mawun Beach, Selong Belanak Beach are some of the favourite beaches to be named in the central Lombok. There is even Merese Hill to be explored and relished for its stunning views. Senggigi beaches, Monkey Forest in Pusuk Village are the places to be visited in the west Lombok trip. A unique beach of the island is the Tangsi ‘Pink’ Beach. It is named so because of the pink coral it holds, that embarks the clear water a pretty pink colour.  Senaru Waterfalls and Benang Kelambu Waterfalls make a prominent mark in the maps of the island.
