Near the coast of northwest Lombok Island, lies the most loved and the popular Gili Islands. The Gili Islands area unit a gaggle of three little islands – Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air. Gili Air is the home to the permanent residents of these islands and flaunts its traditional culture. This island is also famed for offering numerous adventure activities.
These islands hold many important tourist spots to be explored. One can go to the Gili Meno Turtle Sanctuary where a lot of efforts are put to hatch the turtle eggs and thus to conserve their population. One must also not miss the famed bars and enjoy the nightlife at Gili Trawangan for which it is known as the Party island. Also to visit at Gili Trawangan is the popular diving site known by the name Shark point. Gili Trawangan also holds an awe-inspiring Night Market. one can get indulged in the mouth-watering seafood here. Also to enjoy are the rejuvenating drinks here. Gili Meno holds a popular spot known as the salt lake, which is flocked by the incredible wildlife and thus its spectators.
