Five-Faced Hanuman Temple
As the name depicts, the temple holds the idol of Lord Hanuman with five faces. It is believed that at this place Lord Hanuman revealed his five faces. The five faces of the lord show the faces of Lord Hanuman, Adivaraha, Narasimha, Hayagriva, and Garuda. The temple holds a black colored mighty statue of Lord Hanuman with his senthooram. Along with with him, the comparatively smaller idols of Lord Rama and Sita were also placed here in 1964, which traveled from Dhanushkodi. Apart from the idols of the deity, the temple also holds a tank with the floating stone, which was believed to be used in the construction of the bridge by Lord Rama.
