Tibetan Monastery at Gaya, is the oldest, largest and the most revered monastery. The maintenance and facilities offered at this monastery, all controlled by Dalai Lama. The monastery is embellished with Tibetan scriptures and several Buddhist symbols. It sees its establishment in the year 1938. The monastery is famed for a colorful Tibetan temple along with special wheel of Law or Dharmachakra. The WHEEL OF LAW is 10-meter high and is painted in golden and red. The main attraction of the monastery is the image of Maitreya Buddha, which is the future incarnation of Lord Buddha. The place seems a great number of scholars, who visit here to attend two months meditation course. The monastery is also looked upon for its collection of books of literature related to several aspects of Buddhism and guidance for the followers.
