The Science City
North Bengal Science Centre aka The Science City in Siliguri is a vibrant science center established with the aim of spreading the fundamentals and the knowledge of science among the common people. The place spreads its attraction among the children and adults as well. The science scholars get amused learning about the principles and the fundamentals of science here in an easy and descriptive way.
The institute was established in the year 1997 and has seen lakhs of visitors since then. To add to the attraction of the center are the inclusions like- Digital Planetarium, 3D Theater, Science Shows (Super Cold Show-Showing low-temperature properties of matter, Fun with Bubbles, Amazing Chemistry, Unexpected Science), Taramandal Shows, Galleries on various science topics and green Science Park.
The center includes galleries and sections based on Popular Science, Nature Interpretation Gallery, Life Science Corner, and a Travelling Exhibition Section. This makes the must-visit place in West Bengal.
