Teesta Udyan

Jalpaiguri sees a very famous recreational garden named Teesta Udyan. The park was opened for the public in the year 1980. It is maintained by the West Bengal Forest Department.

The park is adorned with wonderful surroundings and numerous sections holdings functional importance. There is a play area for children and also walkways lined with the beautiful flowering plants on either side.

One can spend hours here amidst the serene environment. There is also an artificial lake in the garden which adds to the beauty of it. One can enjoy boating in the lake.

Apart, there is another important section in the park named- deer park. This area aims in protecting and providing deers a natural habitat to dwell into.
