Sri Ramakrishna Math
Sri Ramakrishna Math is the sacred place for Hindus and Ramkrishna and Swami Vivekanand Devotees. It is the holy place where Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna deva was born and also the ancestral home of Sri Ramakrishna deva.
The Organisation built a Math in 1951 at Kamarpukur. Here a marble statue of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna is installed. The place is serene and is visited by the devotees and the tourists all round the year. The organisation and the Math works for the betterment of the people and teaches the principles and saying of Swami Vivekananda and Sri Ramakrishna deva.
Inside the Math are guest houses, a library, a dispensary and schools and the re-excavation of the tank called Haldarpukur.
