Nehru Park

Nehru Park is located on the banks of the Damodar River at Burnpur, a neighborhood in Asansol, West Bengal.

The park is beautiful, well maintained and offers boating, musical fountains and restaurant facilities to the visitors. It makes the perfect place for a few hour’s gateways with family and friends. The place is loved by the children especially because of the numerous fun activities the park offer to them. There are many fun rides for the children and large play area to go hopping around.

The park was originally called the Riverside Park but was later renamed in the memory of the first PM of our country as Nehru Park. A huge metal statue of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru was also installed in the park.

The park holds lots of greenery and thus is flocked by varieties of birds and butterflies.
