Mendabari Fort

Mendabari Fort aka Nal Rajar Garh is a famed tourist spot, located into the dense forests of Chilapata. The fort is not in very good condition today and mainly sees itself as a semi- ruins but still has not lost its glory. One can visit here and appreciate the architecture and the beauty of the fort.

The fort sees its place near the river Baniya and thus offers some of the stunning views of the surrounding. The construction of the fort is believed to be in the 5th century by Gupta Dynasty.

The architecture of the fort is marvelous. One can appreciate the moat system near the bathing ghats. The fort makes a perfect place for archeology, history and nature lovers.
